I've taken my 10 inch Acer Aspire One netbook and loaded Fedora 12 and the Planet CCRMA apps on it. This is a DAW, or digital audio workstation installed on a netbook. It works surprisingly well, even with the limited screen real estate. I tested it out with a USB sound device to plug in my guitar and record a little. I must say, I was impressed what the little thing could do. It is now for sale on ebay.
